The Found Art Project

In addition to being an artist and maker I’m also director of The Found Art Project.

All too often as makers and artists we work one job or two jobs to help pay for supplies and stretching our waking hours thin. Playing the "If I go to bed right now I'll get x hours of sleep." game. Slicing out time to make sure we can get up, slap on another coat of paint or lacquer to a project we're trying to finish, before racing off to work a day job.

I created The Found Art Project to help artists, makers, crafts people, and creative entrepreneurs find avenues to sell their work, market their skills, and find a community of support, collaboration, and education.

Events and retreats are organized around central Ohio to provide exposure, interaction, and networking to help make your passion your way of life. Pop-up shows, gallery style shows, and sales events put you and your work in front of potential customers and clients. Social events will get you out and meeting with other entrepreneurs, community members, and potential collaborators. Educational conferences will provide classes and workshops with business topics such as marketing, caring for your financial interests, and other skills to help you grow your small business and sell your work.

I envision The Found Art Project to be a community helping a community and it needs YOU.
With your help we can create unexpected opportunities for everyone with a passionate, creative soul and we will all create more beauty for the world in some unpredictable places.
